![]() ![]() When battling a raid boss against whom combatants will likely have to rejoin the fight, stagger your lobbying to prevent boss HP regain. It’s not known why this happens - the client and server probably disagree on the amount of damage done. This can make a short-man attempt impossible, especially since most of these raids require re-entry. If both combatants retreat to the lobby at the same time (e.g., to revive their team), the raid boss often regains some HP when they rejoin the fight. This glitch appears to have been mostly fixed as of May 2019. The Pokemon will visually disappear and no longer be able to use charged moves. When a Pokemon dodges an attack that would KO it if undodged, the client and server often disagree on whether the Pokemon really faints. Against many tier 5 bosses dodging is neither required or recommended. When a guide says that a Pokemon is reliant on dodging, it means dodging charged moves only. You can also tap any Gym with an ongoing Raid Battle on your Map View. For any Raid Battles listed, tap “View” below the raid you would like to join to access the raid. Tap the Nearby button at the bottom right of the Map View and select the “Raid” tab. There are 2 ways to join a Raid remotely: If you have 3 or more Remote Raid Passes in your bag, you will not be able to acquire more. Remote Raid Passes can be purchased from the Shop, and occasionally there may be special events that include Remote Raid Passes as a reward. With a Remote Raid Pass, Trainers can join many Raid Battles that appear on the Nearby screen or are tappable from the Map View. ![]()
